Hi, I’m Chelsea, the owner of Roots to Grow Home Daycare. As a certified Pre-K teacher and mother of two, my dream has always been to create a place where children feel safe, loved, and excited to learn.
Roots to Grow is a family-run daycare that I proudly operate alongside my mom, who the children lovingly call “Mimi.” Together, we provide a nurturing, home-like environment where children learn through play, build confidence, and create lasting friendships.
Many of the children who join us as infants stay with us until they’re ready for Pre-K or kindergarten. It is truly a privilege to be part of their early years and to help them grow into happy, confident learners.

Our days are thoughtfully balanced with hands-on learning, outdoor adventures, creative play, and plenty of opportunities to build confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships.
Curriculum
Our Learning Approach
From September through May, we follow the Experience Curriculum—a nationally recognized curriculum, designed to inspire exploration, encourage independence, and support each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Every month brings exciting new themes, hands-on activities, early literacy and math experiences, art, science, music, and plenty of opportunities for children to learn through play.
When summer arrives, we embrace a more relaxed, camp-style atmosphere! Our days are filled with exciting weekly themes, outdoor adventures, water play, nature exploration, sensory activities, special projects, and lots of sunshine. While learning continues naturally through play and exploration, summer is all about making memories, building friendships, and enjoying the magic of being a child.
